New page! AND ch.04p.62 just went up on Patreon!
Lots of DOTU stuff happening right now!
1. After this page, we have only FIVE REMAINING PUBLIC PAGES before DOTU returns to patrons only! That means comic updates will pause in mid-November without another round of funding.
DOTU is a crowdfunded comic, and Patreon is what gives me the ability to continue creating more pages. But I currently don’t have enough funding to create weekly pages, so I create 2-3 pages per month on Patreon, and when I have a 6-month buffer, I post them weekly to the public. Only the die-hard fans stay engaged at 2 pages per month, which is why I save up the buffers for public pages. I’ve been posting this 6-month batch of weekly pages since June.
Everything is better when the comic is public. But I really need more readers to help fund new pages. Our next goal is enough to post the next scene publicly, and we’re 93 percent of the way there. If you enjoy reading the comic, please consider pledging!
2. I’m doing some Merritt’s Story illustrations for Inktober over on Tumblr! There might be a few mildly NSFW ones (*ahem*, #17 “ornament”) that will post only to Patreon, but most will be public. I won’t have time to do every prompt, but I’ll at least do a handful! The first one is already up. And here’s a little preview of the last time I did Merritt’s Story illustrations for Inktober (6 of 12) :
3. Merritt’s Story updates will also resume this month! Merritt’s Story is a 3-book series, and 1.5 books are already up for $2+ patrons! Also, you can read the first 8 chapters by signing up for my newsletter.
4. It’s a new month, so that means a new Top Webcomics voting incentive! I did a Pogo/Annie minicomic for the Secret Gallery tier on Patreon for September, and I really loved it, so I posted a preview chunk as the new incentive. You can vote and see the image by clicking the TWC button below or in the sidebar.
5. Ack, I forgot one! We hit 10 reviews for Art of Death on Amazon! So that means I have a special surprise coming up for y’all… But this post is already a bit of information overload, so I’ll save this announcement for next week. But I promise it’s coming! 😀
