While many just see him as "that dramatic bitch," Belmont is deceptively dangerous and effective. There's no telling who among your allies is wrapped around his finger. Despite being everything the North Sphere despises—showy, emotional, and theatrical—he's managed to work the system to become the most powerful blue-tie after Mercury.
He was once Merritt's commanding officer—and eventually his boyfriend—when Merritt was the North's general. They split up under mysterious circumstances, but there's reason to doubt whether either one of them is really over the other.
