On a side note, my love affair with my Huion tablet is over. XD Now that I’ve had it long enough to be over the fact that it actually works compared to my Intuos, I’m just perpetually frustrated at how bad the pressure sensitivity is compared to Wacom tablets. I think this is mostly because it has a springy pen nib, which I never loved but which I think has gotten worse since it was new. I hate springy nibs and never use them. With Wacom, you have a choice of nibs, but not with this Huion model, even though it’s their most expensive non-screen tablet >_> So I mostly used my Cintiq on the new Patreon page for stuff I used to do on my Intuos like shading, and it’s actually pretty nice! The only drawback is the Cintiq has a lower resolution and brightness than my Mac monitor, so I have to check the page on both screens.
Anyway, I still marginally recommend the Huion, and I’m still using it, but you just don’t actually get the 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity it claims to have, while you get a noticeably better range on a Wacom with 8192 levels. (And don’t let anyone tell you there’s no difference between ~4000 and ~8000 levels. There SO is.)
