I hope you’re all doing well! Hopefully slowly being able to get out in the open more? I haven’t been out too much yet. This year’s Asshole Award (which usually goes to Troy, haha), goes to my family who all decided to go on vacation without me right at the moment I was fully vaccinated. (Pandemic aside, they know I have health issues that make certain types of travel super difficult, so they make sure to *always* plan vacations I can’t go on.) But I’m looking forward to seeing some not-family people in the very near future!
And, as of yesterday, I am the proud new parent of a family of succulents. I’m very excited. Hopefully Charles would be proud, haha. I’m not great with plants because I haven’t had very many, but I’m not, like, the absolute worst. So I guess that’s something. Anyway, they’re VERY CUTE. ;_;
In DOTU news, I’m aiming to resume brand-new DOTU pages for $5+ patrons in mid-June! My backlog will continue to post here weekly for all patrons, of course. This means progress on Cooking with Belmont might go a little slower in June, because I also have a hefty freelance project to get through.
In Cooking with Belmont news, I finished all the sketches for Belmont’s primary sprite variations, including his blinking and talking animations. I also made a bunch of progress with background art this month. That means I’ve probably finished the most labor-intensive parts: the 3D model for their kitchen and dining area, and the two standard sprites with their millions of variations.
Anyway, I’ll post Belmont’s sprite expressions and animations to the Secret Gallery tier later today!
