To understand how Belmont is simultaneously the worst trash and the greatest treasure, you gotta read at least halfway through book 2 of Merritt’s Story. 😛 You can also find a decent chunk of Merritt/Belmont art (and Merritt’s Story art) in the Secret Gallery, which is for patrons pledging to the Secret Gallery tier. You can follow DOTU without reading Merritt’s Story, but DOTU is primarily Pogo’s story. So we’re just not gonna get most of Merritt’s/Belmont’s story in the comic itself.
