We only have 2 guaranteed public pages left! If we can meet our next Patreon goal, we can get the next full scene posted immediately at a weekly pace! Otherwise, public updates will take a break while I pump out buffer pages for Early Access patrons on Patreon. The length of the break is TBD, but I estimate somewhere between 2 and 12 months. Yeah, I know that’s a pretty wide range XD but it really depends on Patreon support! More Patreon pledges means I can take fewer side jobs over the coming months, which means more time to work on DOTU and a faster return to the public.
As for what’s new on Patreon:
Merritt’s Story Part 2 Chapter 16 went up last Thursday! This was a popular chapter for the sweet romance/fluff fans for sure, and it’s actually one of my favorite chapters because we don’t get a whole lot of that in DOTU, haha. Merritt’s Story updates should also be more regular in the future, now that my big publishing deadlines are over.
If you don’t know about Merritt’s Story, it’s a 3-book novel series about Merritt’s past in the North Sphere and all the events that led to him being in the position we currently see him in. Lots of action, political wrangling, and poor sweet Merritt trying to find his way through this crazy, brutal underground world. We see Mercury, Samsid, Troy, Archer, and some new characters too! Also, if you want to meet the first DOTU character to have his own fan club…….. well, we’ll be meeting him here pretty soon, but Merritt’s Story is the place to really get to know him.
Also on Patreon, the monthly $5 letter from Pogo went out to all email patrons last week, and I really like this one! (I hope Pogo is okay after writing that letter… XD) Snail mail letters will go out later this week because my computer is moved to my new place but my printer isn’t yet…
October’s Secret Gallery art also went up, along with a bonus process video and a bonus sketch from the aforementioned Merritt’s Story chapter. The Secret Gallery tier has character art, some minicomics, an inspiration gallery, a spoiler gallery, past Inktober art, and a bit of NSFW art.
