Bonus page is here! I changed up the font a little bit. I might change it again in the future, but I’ll see how this goes for a while. It’s more legible than before, but I still want it more legible than this. I’ve also been thinking about posting my pages at 700px wide instead of 600, but the website layout is just a little bit tight, so I need to think about it.
I’ve been a little bummed over the past few days because I came across another publishing artist who, by the looks of it, might have been a little more “inspired” by DOTU than I’m comfortable with. Not enough for it to be legal infringement, but enough to make me very sad. I can’t rule out coincidence 100%, but I’d say maybe 98 or 99%. I’m pretty paranoid, to the point of being neurotic, about trying to minimize the similarities between my works and other things that came before it, but it just never occurred to me that someone else might decide to “borrow” from me. I know that’s the way it goes in art, but it’s still sad, so I just needed to vent a little. And it reminds me that I have to re-file for copyright of chapter 1 since it fell through the cracks in 2013. That’s my job for tonight, now that I can afford it again.
