I’m putting up this week’s page a little earlier in the day than I normally would, because… I feel like it. 🙂
This past week has been pretty great, and it was really kicked off last Monday by you guys all being so awesome and giving me so many reasons to be grateful and excited about getting back to my creative projects. Site traffic jumped up, ad revenue jumped up, you guys continue to be amazingly helpful at spreading the word of DOTU’s return, and a few people even donated money which will really help to cover webhosting costs and give me a bit of change to put out a banner ad or two. But most important, I was excited to see so many familiar faces – and new faces – coming to say hi.
I can sometimes be bad at expressing my gratitude, but I figure a good way for me to say thanks is to put up an EXTRA PAGE NEXT WEEK! Yep, next week, I plan to put up a new page on Monday, and then another on Thursday. I was originally going to do it this week, but I thought it would be better to leave Merritt in discomfort for the rest of the week. ^_^
In other news, I went walking at a local park over the weekend, and there were TONS of baby geese. So cute! And now I’m especially excited because it means that, in just a short time, I’ll get to see my favorite thing ever: teenage geese!
Anyway, this week we finally have a new TopWebComics voting incentive! I decided to give Merritt a little time in the spotlight. The exposure at TWC is another thing that’ll help spread the word of the comic’s return.
