Samsid doesn’t seem to realize he’s being watched in that fourth panel… Oh by the way, only three pages left of chapter one! I’m considering maybe taking a week off after the chapter is over, but I haven’t decided yet.
Wow, lots of news for today! First, DOTU will be one year old on Wednesday! I also recently hit 200 likes on Facebook, so I plan to put up a thank you/happy birthday image on the Facebook page on Wednesday. So keep an eye out!
And if you missed it, my novel was released last week, in ebook and paperback. You can also now order both formats on Amazon. It looks like it’s been selling pretty well for the genre and for it being my first novel, and it’s gotten a handful of awesome reviews on Goodreads, which is nice. I’ll be doing several promo/guest blog posts this week, so if you’re interested, keep an eye on http://www.anaboschwriting.com or the @anaboschwriting Twitter account, where I’ll make the announcements. Some of the topics include paranormal creatures and “hotties of art history,” lol.
Also, I’ll be doing a “Meet the Author” event on Dreamspinner Press’s Facebook page on July 21, from 1pm-6pmET. You guys are all welcome to stop in and stay as long or as short as you’d like! There will be giveaways, awesome conversation, and I’ll be taking sketch requests throughout the event! I’ll post reminders as we get closer to the 21st.
Pogo was unavailable for this week’s voting incentive (he said something about naked tree-climbing), so he can’t introduce Porter, who’s featured in the new incentive. I won’t lie, Porter’s my favorite character from the novel, even though I of course love them all. 🙂 Here he is in his favorite pair of pajama bottoms with cartoon eggplants.
