Ah, the dreaded “flashback within a flashback.” Time to throw the comic creator out the window.
***Patreon News: I will only be accepting new U.S. snail mail patrons for Pogo’s monthly letters until April 1.*** I’m up to over 50 snail mail patrons and over 30 email patrons, and every letter is personalized and packed by hand, so I’m nearly at the limit for how many more I can take. Anyone who becomes a patron for the $5 or higher tiers before April 1 can get snail mail letters for as long as they stay in the tier, but anyone joining after that will get the letters by email. (In other words, nothing changes for patrons already in the $5+ tiers.) I’ll be wrapping up the February rotation of Patreon sketches today, and Pogo’s February letters will go out in a few days.
All I ask is that you please only sign up for the tier if you have a good faith intention of sticking around for a little while. Please don’t sign up just to get one letter and then leave, because lots of dropped pledges all at once are not good for my budgeting. That’s what the last couple of months have been, and it’s made plans for the comic’s future a little precarious.
Also, I’ve settled on a launch date for Merritt’s story. It’ll be March 5! I plan to post a chapter a week, excluding bonus page weeks. I also hope to wrap up the cover art this week, so patrons will get to see it early. 😀 Remember, we’re aiming for a time-sensitive and very important goal of a new, updated, mobile friendly, and more secure website for DOTU.
