We’re back from winter break! Hey guys! I missed y’all very much!!!!!
I hope you’ve all been doing well and hanging in there the past month. What have you guys been up to? I definitely needed that break from comic pages; it helped renew my motivation and excitement for trying to make each page better than the last. I didn’t get *everything* done that I wanted to do over the break. I finished most of the freelance I had to finish (a few deadlines are still to come), and I made a huge chunk of progress into preparing Merritt’s story for launch on Patreon. I originally wanted to launch the first week of February, but I’m pushing it to later in February so I can build a bigger buffer and finish the cover art.
Speaking of Patreon, if you’re part of the sketch tier and haven’t requested a sketch from the last batch, you still have a little time left because I’m packing envelopes tonight. I also want to give you guys a huge thank you for sticking around through the winter break. Any sort of break comes with a bit of a loss in readership, but you guys have given me the means to do a bit of advertising upon return, which hopefully makes up for that.
I’m aiming to do February’s bonus page next Thursday 2/9 because it fits best with the pacing of the story, but I might push it to 2/16 if things are too tight. I’ll keep you updated!
