The September bonus page went up last Thursday. I never really know how well a Patreon reward or goal will be received until I do it. I decided to make bonus pages a goal because I thought telling the story at a faster pace would be beneficial, especially knowing the length of the story. So *I* was really excited about it, and it’s the thing I really wanted to do even though it’s a challenge to get the work done, but I didn’t really think to check if I was the only one who wanted it. If people aren’t into the bonus pages, I could probably come up with something different. Not for October, since the Patreon payment date is really close. But I can change it up for future months if there isn’t a demand or interest in bonus pages.
As for the next goal (website redesign with bigger pages), I looked at the results of the survey, and 800 pixels won. I’ll post the full results on tumblr or somewhere later this week. I do think 800 is the best compromise, because it’s a good size but won’t eat as much data or be as slow loading as 900.
$10 sketches were delayed a bit, but they should go up tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest. Pogo’s letters and the $10.01 drawing after that.
This week’s Top Webcomics voting incentive is the current page without speech balloons or background blur, because I like grungy/dirty textures, and none of them were visible in the final page, so that made me sad. You can vote and see the image by clicking the TWC button below or in the sidebar.
