Aaaah, I’ve been looking forward to this scene, and finally coming back to Yackley’s! I just wish it wasn’t coming at a time when I’m drowning in freelance. Gonna be a REALLY labor intensive scene.
Panel 6 kills me. There’s a ferret at the shelter named Rotini who’s a huge licker, so that exact thing happened to me just a few days ago. A few of my old ferrets were like that too, including the one that inspired Annie. But with her, it was always a judgmental sort of lick, like “wtf why are you so dirty I’LL CLEAN YOU!!!” Hehe, I miss her.
I’m more than halfway through with September Patreon sketches, but I might not be able to finish them and the September letters until next week, due to the aforementioned freelance and labor intensive next page. The next page is one of those specific pages I’ve been looking forward to for ages, so I really want to get it right. Plus it’s probably the most detailed page in DOTU history.
