Eh, sorry about being a tease, but I promise we’ll find out more about these nightmares during this chapter. ^_^
I’ve been going through serious ferret withdrawal, so last Friday, I started volunteering at the GCFA, which is the local ferret shelter. OH MAN, so many cute ferrets that I fell in love with! It’s hard to pick a favorite, but there was one hilarious female named Bella that I can’t stop thinking about. She’s the fattest female ferret I’ve ever seen, but she still had the tiniest, pointiest face. Fat ferrets are my biggest weakness. There was also a trio of really really sweet sable ferrets that I jokingly thought of as “the three witches” because they just looked like little witches, and then it turned out they were all named for Harry Potter characters. Anyway, if any of you live in the Chicagoland area and are able to adopt or volunteer, I highly recommend both!
