And that’s the end of this scene. With Christmas coming up and this being a good break point, and with things being pretty quiet around here, there will not be a new page next Monday, 12/29. Updates will resume the following week, 1/5/2015. I’m aiming to put up a new TWC voting incentive on January 1 as a bonus, so keep an eye out on Facebook/Tumblr/Twitter if you’re online that day, and I’ll announce it. (You’re welcome to continue voting before then, though! ^_^) Also, I’ll be doing my monthly livestream sometime between Christmas and New Year’s. I’m not expecting a big turnout due to the holiday, but I’ll still do it. I’m hoping this schedule will give me the ability to celebrate the holiday while still making final preparations for the next scene.
I could also use a bit of time to get my head on straight again. I had to put Loki, one of my adopted ferrets, to sleep last Monday. (That was the unhappy thing I mentioned.) For those of you who don’t follow me on Tumblr, which is the only place I mentioned it, he was diagnosed with bone cancer three months ago. I’m really lucky that he was alive and happy for those three months, but it was still really hard to have to say goodbye, and it’s hitting me again today because I had to pick up his ashes. Osito, the last of the three ferrets I adopted, is also in his final days now due to his insulinoma (also cancer). So things are a little hard right now, but I’m managing. Ferrets are highly susceptible to all sorts of cancers, and I adopted these guys old, so I was prepared, at least as much as one can be prepared for this sort of thing.
Anyway, sorry for all this crummy stuff. On to happier things. 🙂 Hopefully those of you who are celebrating the holidays have something fun planned!
